Our third installment of the Process 2 Product: From Inspiration to Innovation features the work of ceramic artist Linda Gossett. The artist reception for the show will be Friday, July 15 from 6:30 to 8:30pm and the show will run through August 19 in the main building exhibition space at CAC. Our Annual Membership Show will open Saturday, July 30 with an artist reception from 5:30 to 8:30pm at Mary Tomas Gallery in the Design District and run through Sat, Sept 3. CAC is hosting three Camp MetalHead groups this summer for underserved and at-risk teens, including a dedicated camp for students from Cafe Momentum, a restaurant training platforming transforming lives of former juvenile offenders from Dallas Youth Village.
We are proud to have been chosen to be a part of the City of Dallas'/Office of Cultural Affairs Cultural Vitality Program with another project that we are doing with Cafe Momentum this summer. Feasts of Clay is a six-week program in which students will design and create ceramic serveware for the popular downtown restaurant.
