In memory of CAC teaching artist Steve Armes, CAC will be hosting a special exhibit of his work to honor him for the many years he taught at CAC, reaching hundreds of devoted students through his Drawing Fundamentals classes. The memorial exhibition opening will take place Thursday, May 11 from 6:30 to 8pm at CAC.
Art is a Second Language is CAC's family friendly, drop-in arts programming: Catch us at Klyde Warren Park on the second Sunday of each month from 2 to 4pm in the spring and the fall months (May 14, June 11, Sept 10, Oct 8 & Nov 12) and also at NorthPark Center's ArtRocks events (May 13, June 10, Aug 12 & Oct 14).
Unseenamerica is currently underway with 10 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students from nearby Bayles Elementary studying digital photography. Watch for a culminating show later this spring of their work!
