CAC hosts low-cost figure drawing & painting labs every Sunday. A live model will be provided for each 3 hour lab and you do not need to make a reservation.

CAC has a limited number of scholarships each session for deserving students facing financial hardship. Although the materials fee is included, we are unable to provide scholarships any additional class supplies you may need. To apply for a scholarship for one session, please complete and sign the form here. Allow 2-3 weeks for your application to be reviewed.
CAC offers a 15% discount on class or workshop fees (not including materials fee) for the following groups:

Register early. Classes will be cancelled if they do not meet the minimum enrollment three (3) business days prior to the start of a new session. CAC reserves the right to cancel, combine or reschedule any class. Instructors may alter the class schedule during a session to accommodate holidays. They will discuss any changes with each class.

The Blue Plate Special is an exciting fundraiser centered around a silent auction featuring artist-designed ceramics plates that are paired with fantastic items such as gift certificates, tickets to events, merchandise and more.
Funds raised from this event support CAC and its outreach programs. We believe strongly that through the creative process we build stronger communities helping people re-imagine their world. Our current outreach programs: Camp MetalHead, unseenamerica, ArtAbility and Art as a Second Language allow challenged and underserved children, teens and adults to build their creative confidence, transforming lives along the way.
CAC is happy to accept in-kind donations of supplies for our programming and equipment for our studios depending on the item and space considerations. In order to make sure we are the best option for your gift, we have listed some guidelines and suggestions for what we can use.

The Creative Arts Center of Dallas maintains the highest level of respect for the privacy of its donors. CAC often hosts exhibitions for community groups or schools. In the past, we have hosted art shows for organizations representing homeless people, senior living centers, schools and people with mental illnesses. Our objective is to provide community awareness of social issues in which art can make an impact.
We host two annual exhibitions featuring the work from clients of The Bridge, Dallas’ largest homeless service center as well as Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing & Visual Arts whose visual arts students who take on-going figure drawing classes at CAC. For more information, please contact info@creativeartscenter.org.
