Sewing with Fabric and Leather

This is a fun and creative way to learn to work with and create amazing useful cloth and leather projects. This beginner and up level class. In this class you will learn to design, create patterns, use store bought patterns and make custom goods. Learn beginning and advanced sewing techniques while creating these projects. Projects can include clothes, aprons, small quilts, sunglass cases, shaving kits, dopkits, bags (lined and unlined), totes bags, tool bags, cord keeps, cuffs, wallets, stuffed animals and more. Students will learn all about leather and fabric, types of each, how to use them, learn to put in zippers for pockets and closures. In this class students will learn to hand sew and/or machine sew to create their projects

*The teacher will go over the supply list on the first class.

*Basic Sewing tools are needed for this class. (must have fabric sewing machine)

  • An additional $20 per student supply fee covers the use of the Leather sewing machine, leather tools and leather thread. Paid to the teacher.
