Art Classes for Adults in Dallas

The Creative Arts Center of Dallas offers ongoing weekly studio classes in a wide range of visual arts. Ours is the largest community-based visual arts education programs in the city, offering more than 500 classes for adults throughout the year. We offer classes in ceramics, pottery wheel, hand-building, clay sculpture, fiber arts, mosaics, stained glass and fused glass, metal sculpture, stone carving, jewelry and small metals, painting, drawing, mixed media, encaustics, and print making. Learn to throw pottery or hand build with clay. Whether you are a beginner or advanced student, we have classes for everyone.
Whether you are a novice, emerging artist or a working artist or have an interest in traditional fine art, contemporary art or fine craft, CAC has the perfect class for you.
Registration is Open
Registration is open for classes starting August 11. Repeating classes are eight weeks and short classes are 1 and 2 days. We offer classes in Drawing, Glass, Fiber Arts, Painting, Ceramics, Clay Sculpture, Stone Carving, Metal Sculpture, Small Metals and Jewelry, Mosaics, Mixed Media, and Creative Enrichment.
Our ceramics studio has two large work areas with pottery wheels and tables for hand-building. We have a variety of classes in clay including wheel throwing, hand building, sculpture and a room dedicated to glazing and firing. All of our classes range from beginning to advanced to meet the needs of students of different levels. Our classes include metal sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, stone carving, tufting, sewing, oil painting, watercolor, mosaic art, stained glass, fused glass.

The Creative Arts Center of Dallas is located in East Dallas. We have been providing visual arts classes to students of all skill levels and experience for over 50 years. CAC has become a top art education campus within the North Texas area serving a range of adult students.
