Just coming back from vacation? This art class is the ideal way to finish out the summer with an artistic flourish. In this 4 Session still life drawing class we will touch on the topics of perspective, proportions, and composition, but the main focus of the class is to get gutsy and bold and get it down on paper.
We’ll learn how to quickly capture a rough draft on paper by combining quick gesture drawings with a variety of materials: pencils, charcoal, pastels, and ink. This approach will loosen up that stiff mark making and open the page up to freer looser drawings with more self-expression.
We’re going to do a lot of drawings, and use up a lot of paper, and you’re going to get your hands dirty and probably your clothes too.
