In this introductory workshop, you will learn the basics of linoleum relief printing and be immersed in printmaking culture. From learning how to design a linoprint, to carving and inking your matrix, to tearing and editioning your prints, this two day workshop will provide you with the support and guidance you need to begin or enhance your journey as a printmaker. In addition to a complete matrix design ready for a lifetime of printing, students will also leave this course with their own edition of 8-10 prints.
Students will be provided with almost all materials required for the entire course, with the exception of carving tools.
