Beginner Bookmaking

Explore the ins and outs of contemporary bookmaking, working towards making your own professionally and archival, bound journals, sketchbooks, and albums. This workshop will introduce artists to bookmaking techniques— the basics of paper folding, adhesives, stitching and sewing, to begin the integration of bookmaking into your artistic practice. We’ll work with high-quality materials, allowing you to design your creation using beautiful book cloth and papers from around the world.
