Fall Full Session Classes
Fall full session classes at the Creative Arts Center of Dallas run eight weeks, meeting once a week with the same instructor and the same small group from start to finish. This is the format for going deep — enough time to move past the basics, build real technique, and end the session with work you're proud of. Whether you're throwing your first pots on the wheel, drawing from a live model, or learning to cut and weld metal, you get eight weeks of hands-on studio time to actually develop the skill, not just sample it.
Classes are open to adults at every level, from complete beginners to returning artists refining a craft. They span disciplines including ceramics, drawing, painting, jewelry and metalwork, fiber arts, woodworking, printmaking, and more — so you can commit to one focus or come back each session to try something new.
The core equipment for each studio — wheels and kilns, torches, presses, hand tools — is provided. Some classes ask you to bring a few additional supplies, usually personal items like brushes or carving tools that are yours to keep and reuse as you keep making art; any extras are listed on the class page.
As a nonprofit community art center, we keep the focus on access and real instruction. Our instructors are working artists who teach because they want you making things. Cost shouldn't be a barrier either — our scholarship program helps cover tuition for students who need it. See if you qualify and apply.
