This once‑a‑week class welcomes teens of all experience levels. Participants learn hand‑building methods (and wheel‑throwing when time allows) while watching demonstrations of glazing, sgraffito, underglaze painting, slip trailing, and other surface‑decoration techniques. Projects emphasize creative expression and personal storytelling in clay as students build technical skills, refine problem‑solving strategies, and explore form, texture, and finish. The atmosphere is playful and fun, but the class is also a serious studio practice for students committed to the making of art. All tools and materials provided; leave with finished or kiln‑ready pieces and growing confidence in ceramic practice.
Students should be picked-up promptly from the Creative Arts Center campus at 3:00pm.
