Anja Yamaji was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany. In 2003, she moved to Los Angeles, then jumped to New York in 2004 to grow as an artist on both coasts. Her artistic journey began with brush and canvas, creating expressive acrylic paintings. Her desire to make others feel beautiful, confident, and seen led her into makeup artistry, which sparked her fascination with body painting as a way to transfer her paintings onto the human canvas. To complete her intricate body paint designs, she began crafting elaborate headdresses, seamlessly blending form and function. Later, she discovered resin art while assisting another artist and fell in love with the medium’s distinctive depth and its luxurious, glossy, glass-like finish. Her creative evolution continued with jewelry design and mandala art, each offering a new way to explore color, texture, and meaning. But in 2013, she discovered her true calling: guiding others in their creative journey. Sharing her passion for art and watching others succeed became her greatest joy. Driven by the love and passion for bold colors, she strives to use their powerful impact for a positive effect on people's mental and emotional well-being, while also bringing a sense of empowerment and self-love to those exposed to her work.
