Beverly discovered fused glass about 15 years ago. First, she bought it, and after taking her first fused glass class, she realized she’d found her art form. Selecting colors, creating designs, and cutting and shaping the glass became addictive.

Beverly has taken classes at the Creative Arts Center of Dallas, and from artists including Richard Parrish, Ian Chadwick and Larry Pyle. She was also a part of a group of smart, generous and talented folks at La Hoya Glass Artists in Richardson. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and group art shows, and she has won a dozen ribbons for her fused glass at the State Fair of Texas in the last five years. Her studio is on the White Rock Lake Artists’ Studio Tour.

Beverly’s goal: There is always more to learn, and even disappointments teach important lessons. Every time I open the kiln, it’s like unwrapping a present. I want to share that joy and love of glass fusing.”
