Cindy arrived in Dallas weeks after graduating from Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Graphic Design. Exploring the world of creative opportunities that Dallas had to offer, she was involved in the movie and commercial industry as a set and prop designer, and an art director. Later she moved on to the publication world and launched multiple magazines on her own as the art director, designer, and managing editor. For her, she has always loved the balance of the right brain and left brain, being extremely creative, while also loving to dive into an excel spreadsheet with information at her fingertips. When the time came for chapter three of life, Cindy tried out multimedia mosaics at the CAC with Rebecca Collins, and never looked back. Rebecca has always been of the philosophy of including everything AND the kitchen sink in my creative projects – my kind of gal! That was the beginning of Cindy’s 3D creative world in 2018, which includes mosaics and fused glass at the CAC. She feels particularly fortunate with the social community she has built amoung the many talented student artists she has met there.
