Constance Corbett is a watercolor artist, instructor, and the Vice President for Workshops at the 400-member-strong Southwestern Watercolor Society based in Dallas, TX. Through her involvement and leadership, she has studied under some of the best watercolor artists in the world, internalizing their design principles and specialized techniques.

Having taken up watercolor in her 50s, Constance firmly believes it is never too late to explore the beauty, creativity and unique challenges of the medium. She is as passionate about teaching as she is about creating art. Understanding the natural hesitancy beginners often feel - especially those who believe they can only “draw stick figures” - she designs her classes to be highly engaging and low-stress. By leaning deeply into the fundamentals of art and design, Constance ensures her students don’t just learn to paint, but learn to create great paintings!
